Contact forms

A Contact form gives readers a direct way to send their name, email address, subject, and message from any post or page.

Set up outgoing email

Complete Settings > Email > Email settings before adding a form. Blogmaker uses these settings for owner notifications and for messages you send from the Contact page.

Add a Contact form

  1. Open Posts or Pages, then create or edit the content where readers should contact you.
  2. Add a Form content block and choose Contact form.
  3. Customize the heading and description. Open the advanced options to change field labels, the success message, or owner notifications.
  4. Preview the form, then publish your changes.

Read and answer messages

Open Email > Contact to filter, sort, and page through submissions. Expand a row to read its message, or use Email to write back from Blogmaker.

Owner notifications are enabled by default. A reader's reply to an email you send goes directly to the Reply-to inbox configured in Email settings and is not stored as a thread in Blogmaker.
