Redirects

BlogMaker includes a built-in screen for permanent URL redirects. Use a redirect when a published post or page moves to a new address.

Open Settings > Redirects.

  1. Enter the old path without the domain, such as old-path.
  2. Enter the full destination URL, such as https://example.com/new-path.
  3. Save the settings, then test the old URL in a private browser window.

BlogMaker serves these as permanent 301 redirects. Do not point a path back to itself.

Advanced Cloudflare redirects

Use Cloudflare redirect rules only when you need patterns or domain-level behavior that cannot be represented by a BlogMaker path redirect. See Cloudflare's URL forwarding documentation.
