Importing to blogstatic has been one of the most requested features since rebranding and introducing our newest pricing.
Usually, our answer would be, "Sorry, there's no way to automatically import your content to blogstatic."
One of our customers manually imported 23 posts from their old blog in Ghost. One-by-one!
Something had to be done.
By the way, the import feature wasn't in the plans for quite some time because of the intricacies that come with it. Not just the technical part of grabbing the data from an external source but sanitizing and optimizing it before we can insert it into our servers.
However, with a bit of a push from friends and a bit of luck, we managed to ship it so new customers can quickly move their posts from their old blog to their new one in blogstatic.
The @blogstatic import feature wasn't in the plans for another few months.

? On average, I have about a ticket/day regarding imports.
At the time of this writing, we're doing the importing for each customer since the file (JSON/XML) containing your old blog content needs to be prepared before it's imported to blogstatic.
Down the line, we'll have a detailed post in our User Guide on how to achieve this on your own.
